Junior Process Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer

SPE “Athlon Avia”, a full-cycle Ukrainian research and production enterprise and an industry leader in unmanned aerial systems (UAS), is seeking an ambitious Junior Process Engineer eager to learn and build a career in high-tech defense manufacturing during this period of active growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Study & Optimization: Study and gain deep insights into product manufacturing engineering processes.
• Technical Documentation Support: Prepare, review, and maintain process documentation across all product development stages.
• Production Lifecycle Support: Participate in technical and process support from initial conceptual design through pre-series production.
• Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Analyze structural designs for manufacturability and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Liaise closely with design engineers, manufacturing personnel, and Quality Control specialists.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

• Education: Senior student or recent graduate in an engineering/technical discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Design, Materials Science, Electronics, or similar).
• 3D CAD Skills: Fundamental proficiency in SolidWorks (ability to navigate 3D models, read engineering drawings, and review design documentation).
• Standards & Documentation Knowledge: Basic knowledge of unified engineering/technological documentation standards (ESKD / ESTD) and formatting rules.
• Blueprint Literacy: Proven ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering schematics.
• Mindset: High willingness to learn, enthusiasm for manufacturing engineering, and strong team spirit.
