SPE “Athlon Avia”, a full-cycle Ukrainian research and production enterprise developing advanced UAV technologies, is seeking a qualified Reconnaissance UAV Operator Instructor to join our training team amid active operational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Instruction & Training Execution: Conduct educational and flight training programs in accordance with established curricula.
- Flight Mission Planning: Plan training flights, including mission routing, weather condition analysis, and ground equipment readiness checks.
- Flight Operations Oversight: Execute and supervise the full cycle of training flights, post-flight inspections, and debriefings.
- Tactical Scenario Drills: Train cadets on complex operational scenarios, including aerial surveillance, imagery interpretation, target acquisition, and artillery fire correction.
- Curriculum Development: Prepare, update, and refine training materials, manuals, and instructional guides.
- Performance Evaluation: Assess cadets’ theoretical knowledge, flight skills, and practical operational readiness.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
Required Experience & Competencies:
- Background: Proven experience in artillery reconnaissance and/or UAV operations (preferably with fixed-wing platforms).
- Tactical Expertise: Deep understanding of reconnaissance UAV tactics, including mission planning, operational deployment, and target tracking across diverse units.
- Intelligence Processing: Expertise in intelligence gathering, data analysis, and visual imagery interpretation.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with tactical situational awareness software (e.g., Kropyva, DELTA, or similar situational awareness platforms).
- Instructional Ability: Strong communication skills with proven ability or aptitude for teaching and mentoring others.
- Education (Preferred): Degree in Military Science, Engineering, Radio Engineering, Aviation, or related technical fields.

- Travel: Willingness to undertake business trips and field deployments.
