Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the Role

SPE “Athlon Avia”, a full-cycle Ukrainian research and production enterprise and an industry leader in unmanned aerial systems (UAS), is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team during this period of rapid expansion.

Scope of Responsibilities

• Management Accounting & Reporting: Establish, manage, and oversee internal financial accounting, analysis, and reporting standards.
• Accounting & Taxation Oversight: Supervise the accounting department to ensure full compliance regarding general ledgers, financial statements, primary documentation, and tax planning.
• External Financial Relations: Act as the primary liaison with banking institutions, tax authorities, and other financial entities.
• Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Direct and optimize the company’s financial resources, working capital, and overall cash flows.
• Financial Modeling & Budgeting: Develop long-term financial models, drive the annual budgeting process, and monitor budgetary execution across operational projects.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to national financial regulations, reporting standards, and relevant legislation.

Candidate Requirements

• Professional Experience: 5+ years of proven track record in a senior financial executive role (CFO or Finance Director).
• Industry Background: Extensive experience in the manufacturing or production sector is mandatory.
• Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Technical Expertise: Deep expertise in financial management, tax law, financial accounting, and managerial reporting frameworks.
• Advanced Domain Knowledge: Clear understanding of transfer pricing principles and cross-border transactions.
• Leadership Skills: Proven capability to lead, mentor, and structure financial teams effectively.
• Language Proficiency: Upper-Intermediate (B2) level of English or higher.
