Athlon Avia at MSPO 2026: Advancing Partnerships and Industrial Cooperation in Europe

Athlon Avia presented Ukrainian technologies at MSPO 2026 in Poland — one of the premier international defense industry exhibitions, bringing together military, technology, and defense sector leaders from around the globe.

The exhibition provided a valuable platform to showcase Ukrainian expertise in unmanned aerial systems, establish new professional connections, and initiate potential partnerships with international defense companies.

Over the course of four days, the “Athlon Avia” team held a series of strategic meetings with defense and technology industry stakeholders from Ukraine, Europe, the United States, and South Korea. A central focus of these discussions was the exchange of technical expertise and engineering insights among specialists advancing unmanned technology worldwide.

One of the company’s primary objectives at MSPO 2026 was to identify partners for expanding manufacturing capabilities in Europe, fostering industrial cooperation, and co-developing next-generation products. A dedicated focus was placed on enhancing existing technological solutions through collaboration with international engineering and production teams.

The next phase involves evaluating these engagements to define structured collaboration models aligned with the company’s long-term strategic goals.

Participation in MSPO 2026 marks another significant step forward in strengthening international partnerships and integrating Ukrainian technology into the European defense ecosystem.

Athlon Avia Expands International Cooperation at the 4th UK-UA Defense Tech Forum in London

On November 18, 2025, Athlon Avia participated in the 4th UK-UA Defense Tech Forum, held at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) in London. The company was represented by Chief Operating Officer Oleksandr Dyatlov and Head of International Development Arsen Prykhodko.

We are interested in discussing opportunities for international collaboration and cooperation, establishing joint ventures based on the company’s existing products—in particular, the Furia reconnaissance system—and implementing joint R&D projects.

The UK-UA Defence Tech Forum brought together representatives of governments, defense companies from both countries, investment funds, and financial institutions. Since 2024, this event has attracted over 750 participants.

The Forum was organized by Strategy Council and Kinstellar in collaboration with the Embassy of Ukraine in the United Kingdom, the Ministry of Defense, and the UK Department for Business and Trade.

Challenges Facing the Defense Industry Were Discussed at the “Security Export” Forum

The Athlon Avia team took part in the Technological Forces of Ukraine forum, discussing production capacity, relocation experience, and the path toward international exports.

The “Security Export: Ukrainian Technological Weapons in the World” forum brought together representatives of defense tech companies for an open discussion on the key challenges facing the industry today: how the sector is operating, what is holding back its development, and where to look for breakthrough solutions.

Athlon Avia Director Artem V’yunnyk participated in a panel discussion focused on production capacity, forced relocation, and building long-term partnerships with international counterparts.

“Exports do not happen overnight. It is a long-term process — two to three years of working with a potential market. Companies need to start moving in this direction as soon as possible, despite being heavily engaged with current production demands,” said Artem V’yunnyk.

At the company’s booth, event participants had the opportunity to see Athlon Avia products and speak directly with the team about how modern defense manufacturing operates during wartime.

We met with military personnel at the “Wild Drones” race

The Athlon Avia team joined the “Dyki Drony” competition to connect with UAV crews, gather operational feedback, and present the company’s own reconnaissance solutions.

Organized by the Dyka Gonka community together with combat UAV units, “Dyki Drony” served as a practical platform for sharing experience between crews and units operating unmanned systems on the frontline.

Although “Furia” is not a combat drone but a reconnaissance system, the Athlon Avia team took part in the event as a representative of the defense industry. The goal was to engage directly with military personnel and gain a better understanding of their operational needs and challenges.

Participants included several training centers and more than 20 combat brigades. Some of them regularly use “Furia” to carry out missions on the frontline.

During the event, the company’s team answered technical questions, collected feedback on the system’s performance, and presented new solutions in the field of unmanned aerial systems.

Athlon Avia has signed the Principles of Veteran-Friendly Business

The Principles of Veteran-Friendly Business were developed by Starlight Media with expert support from Veteran Hub, in collaboration with Forbes Ukraine. The Ministry for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine is the initiative’s main government partner. The Ministry for Strategic Industries of Ukraine has provided important and effective support for the initiative within the defense industry.

Today, the community of veteran-friendly businesses brings together 99 Ukrainian companies from various sectors of the economy, united by a shared public commitment to act in the interests of veterans, service members, and their families.

The Principles of Veteran-Friendly Business have been endorsed by JSC Ukrainian Defense Industry, which brings together 112 state-owned enterprises and the heads of 41 private companies producing weapons, armored vehicles, UAVs, ground robotic systems, and electronic warfare equipment.

Athlon Avia is actively joining this initiative and welcomes veterans to apply for positions within the company. It is particularly important that our team includes veterans with combat experience operating the “Furia” UAS.

This step highlights the importance of bringing together the efforts of the government, business, and the veteran community to create favorable conditions for the development and support of Ukraine’s defenders.

Athlon Avia Participated in the 2025 “Career Festival”

The team presented its areas of work in unmanned aviation, along with open positions for technical specialists and back-office professionals.

Career Festival 2025, organized by Work.ua and VDNG, brought together companies from engineering and technology sectors. Throughout the event, visitors had the opportunity to meet teams, learn about projects, and explore professional development opportunities in manufacturing and R&D.

Athlon Avia presented its work in UAV development and shared insights into the technical challenges the team is currently addressing. At the company’s booth, visitors could learn more about open positions and the areas where the company is currently hiring.

We Became Partners for Brave1’s 2nd Anniversary – “Defence Tech Era 2025”

We joined one of the key events in Ukraine’s defense sector, presented the “Furia” UAS, and shared our experience of managing its full life cycle.

On April 26, the Athlon Avia team took part in the Brave1 Defence Tech Era forum, organized by the Brave1 defense innovation cluster to mark its second anniversary. The event brought together representatives of the defense industry, technology developers, military personnel, and government institutions.

The company was represented on stage by Chief Executive Officer Oleksandr Diatlov and Yurii “Ispanets” Polulikh, UAS squad commander and junior sergeant of the “Chornyi Lis” Brigade. They presented the “Furia” case study, demonstrating how the full life cycle works — from manufacturing and operator training to servicing and technical support.

At the company’s booth, visitors had the opportunity to see samples of our equipment and speak directly with the Athlon Avia team.

The forum’s program covered the scaling of defense innovations, the technical priorities of Ukraine’s Security and Defense Forces, and tools for supporting technology developers. Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov presented Brave1’s achievements over its first two years.

Events like this create opportunities for meaningful interaction, strengthen the defense innovation community, and help move Ukraine’s defense industry forward.

Athlon Avia at the First Defense Industry Career Fair — “Arsenal of Talents”

The Athlon Avia team presented current job openings and introduced participants to the company’s products and workplace culture.

Athlon Avia took part in “Arsenal of Talent”, the first career fair for professionals looking to build their careers in Ukraine’s defense industry. The event was organized by Lobby X and DOU.

At the company’s booth, visitors had the opportunity to learn more about current vacancies, meet members of the team, and get a closer look at Athlon Avia’s corporate culture. Visitors could also see scale models of the A1-SM “Furia” and A2-S “Furia 2” unmanned aerial systems.

The quiz hosted by our team was one of the highlights of the event. A large number of participants joined in, and some of them received Athlon Avia-branded gifts.

“Arsenal of Talent” became a space for meaningful, face-to-face communication with industry professionals — something the defense sector had been lacking.

“Furia” at the parade marking the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence

On August 24, 2021, during the military parade marking the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence, the A1-SM “Furia” Unmanned Aerial System was presented among the latest examples of weapons and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Its participation in the country’s main military parade recognized the system’s important role in the development of Ukrainian unmanned technologies and its contribution to enhancing the capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The A1-SM “Furia” UAS was already successfully being used by Ukrainian military personnel for aerial reconnaissance, target detection, and artillery fire adjustment.
