About the Role

• Core Focus: Setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC milling equipment to produce high-precision UAV parts.
• Key Scope: Blueprint reading, quality inspection, tool management, and ensuring smooth production operations.

SPE “Athlon Avia”, a full-cycle Ukrainian research and production enterprise developing advanced UAV technologies, is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our production team and ensure precision manufacturing in accordance with strict quality standards.

Core Responsibilities

• CNC Machine Operation: Set up, launch, and service CNC machines based on technical documentation and production targets.
• Component Machining: Machine parts strictly adhering to technical drawings, ensuring specified dimensional tolerances and surface finishes.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, identifying and correcting deviations during the machining process.
• Technical Documentation: Read engineering drawings, interpret control programs, and follow process sheets.
• Production Line Continuity: Monitor equipment performance, perform timely tool changes, and maintain machine health while adhering to occupational safety rules.
• Workflow Support: Execute supervisor assignments, contribute to continuous process improvement, and support shop-floor efficiency.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Measurement Tools: Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges).
• Machine Operation: Hands-on experience operating CNC milling machines.
• CAD/CAM Basics: Basic knowledge of 3D modeling software (SolidWorks or equivalents).
• Machining Knowledge: Understanding of metal/material machining processes, cutting speeds, and feeds.
• Key Traits: High attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, discipline, accountability, and strong teamwork skills.
