Opportunities for Young Talent

We believe that the future of Ukrainian defense tech is shaped by people. That is why Athlon Avia invests in the development of young engineers, university students, and school students by creating opportunities for learning, hands-on experience, and professional growth.

Internships and Practical Training

We cooperate with higher education institutions and welcome students for practical training in accordance with their university programs. Each intern is assigned a mentor from the Athlon Avia team who helps them adapt to the working environment and gain hands-on experience.

If a student demonstrates strong performance and their mentor recommends continuing the collaboration, we offer a paid internship of up to four months, with the opportunity for further employment.

We are open not only to students in specialized fields. If you are motivated, have a technical mindset, and possess relevant knowledge and skills, we are ready to consider your application.

AVIA Lab

AVIA Lab is a joint educational and research space established by Athlon Avia and Kyiv Aviation Institute to help develop the next generation of Ukrainian engineers.

The laboratory is equipped with everything needed to design, manufacture, and test various types of unmanned aerial vehicles. Here, university and school students work with mechanics, electronics, programming, and engineering, gaining hands-on experience in developing real-world engineering solutions.

Research and development projects are another key area of AVIA Lab’s work. The company provides real-world technical challenges, while student teams work on solutions under the guidance of university professors and Athlon Avia specialists.

Educational Projects and Engineering Competitions

We support the development of technical education through hackathons, engineering competitions, summer and winter schools, and specialized educational programs.

Our initiatives include UAV Bootcamp, a winter school for school students hosted at Kyiv Aviation Institute, as well as partnership projects with universities and student communities.

These formats give young people an opportunity to work on real engineering challenges, explore modern technologies, and take their first steps toward a career in engineering and defense tech.
