Athlon Avia, the manufacturer of the renowned “Furia” reconnaissance UAS, celebrates its 11th anniversary.
Since 2014, the company has been manufacturing “Furia” unmanned aerial systems, which perform tactical reconnaissance and artillery fire adjustment missions on the frontline. Over the years, Athlon Avia has become one of Ukraine’s key unmanned systems manufacturers. The company is a reliable partner of Ukraine’s Defense Forces, including the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Security Service of Ukraine, National Police of Ukraine, National Guard of Ukraine, and State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The manufacturer provides full product life-cycle support — from pilot training to 24/7 technical support and repairs.
On its anniversary, Athlon Avia is launching its own recruitment campaign as the manufacturer of the “Furia” UAS. The campaign aims to improve the effectiveness of combat missions by increasing the number of motivated operators with the military occupational specialty “External Pilot (UAS Operator)” (MOS 216). The company guarantees that recruits will receive full support throughout the process and a pilot position in a unit selected by the candidate, says CEO Artem V’yunnyk.
This approach will enable new operators to be integrated into the Armed Forces of Ukraine quickly and effectively. Athlon Avia provides free training for future “Furia” UAS pilots.
“The ‘Chornyi Lis’ Brigade is developing and growing in order to inflict even greater damage on the enemy. We constantly need pilots. That is why we are glad to support the initiative to train future ‘Furia’ UAS pilots directly through the manufacturer. Who can know the equipment better than its manufacturer? We will be happy to welcome operators who complete training at the ‘Furia’ UAS Pilot School into our military family,” commented Oleksandr Popov, Commander of the 15th Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade ‘Chornyi Lis’.
The recruitment campaign is carried out under the slogan: “We Select. We Train. We Guarantee.”
