Athlon Avia Research and Production Enterprise initiated a systematic study of the actual combat experience of crews operating reconnaissance unmanned aerial systems, followed by analysis and the development of practical solutions for the military.
This approach was implemented as part of the Furia_mission_2025 professional competition and a concluding roundtable discussion held at the Ukrinform News Agency with the participation of representatives from the commands of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military educational institutions, and industry media outlets.
The data obtained makes it possible to adapt the technical specifications of the systems to the current needs of the front lines and to update pilot training methods. A key conclusion of the roundtable was the need for the mandatory use, at all levels of combat command, of modern digital command-and-control and communication systems, as well as specialized software such as “Delta,” “Graphite,” “Ocheret,” and others.
All recommendations and methodological guidelines developed are being forwarded to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for implementation in the training programs of military centers and military universities. This will ensure the systematic application of successful combat experience across the entire structure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
